Dont keep Paradise waiting!! Costa Rica's weather has two seasons, just as many tropical countries do. The dry season is from mid December to April and is known as Summer (verano). The other season sees more rain and is called Winter (invierno). It is also known by the accurate name 'green season'. Temperatures are a result of altitude but overall, they are temperate. In San Jose, the capital, at 3,770 feet (1150 meters), the range goes from 67 degrees F (17 C) to 79 degrees F (26 C). The lowlands are warmer and the average is 86 degrees F (30 C) during the day. The beaches can also be humid. |
